Be constructive and don't gatekeep. Music is highly subjective, and people have different tastes. This isn't Pandora. Instead of downvoting or coming in to say how much you personally don't like a song/artist, post something you do like instead.
If the source is YouTube, use the actual YouTube URL rather than a specific Invidious/Piped link. This prevents dead links as those go on/offline or break due to Google changes while also letting people's browser plugins, Lemmy clients, etc automatically re-write YT links to their preferred instances. Feel free to put alternate links in the post body, though.
Put the link to the song in the URL field and not the post body.

Welcome to the nostalgia-filled piefed instance of yesteryear.
Open Registration with Application questionnaire.
If you have a question or comment you can post in !meta@retrofed.com or message @DosDude@retrofed.com or @Die4Ever@retrofed.com

Some rules we try to uphold:
Be civil. Bigotry is not welcome. This includes (but is not limited to): transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ageism and ableism. We do not promote hate.
Communities need to be Retro or Retro-adjacent.
Please don't upload pornographic content. (use an external image host for that)
