RetroFed Forum

A place to post memes & images that won't absolutely obliterate your mental health!
Memes must not stray into hopelessness and be generally positive or neutral.

I made this with my kid in mind, so that they can have a good, safe place to look at memes, just made to make folks laugh and smile!

Only goofs & silliness. (:

no NSFW. ever.
no sexually suggestive material
swearing is fine, but please don't go overboard.
no sad or depressing content
no politics or politically-motivated content – this include comments.
no outrage content or bait
no AI-generated images. Understandably, some may slip through the cracks, but assume no malicious intent.
no AI accusations. Are you unsure? Leave it be. Is it obvious it's AI? Please report it.
No spamming of personal links. You can credit an author, but not spam or advertise.

Welcome to the nostalgia-filled piefed instance of yesteryear.

Open Registration with Application questionnaire.

If you have a question or comment you can post in !meta@retrofed.com or message @DosDude@retrofed.com or @Die4Ever@retrofed.com

In case of downtime and/or emergency, we will post updates on @DosDude@mastodon.social

Some rules we try to uphold:

Be civil. Bigotry is not welcome. This includes (but is not limited to): transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ageism and ableism. We do not promote hate.
Communities need to be Retro or Retro-adjacent.
Please don't upload pornographic content. (use an external image host for that)
