RetroFed Forums

Discuss migration, immigration, emigration, deportation, & expatriation, here. This is the first English-speaking properly defederated community for this topic.

Why is it on slrpnk? A: Climate change is a culprit for migration of animals generally. This forum is focused on human immigration (but perhaps it should be open to climate migration of other species).

And certainly climate need not be relevant. Anything about xenophobic bullying of people for moving about is fair game here. (Solarpunks like their autonomy)

This pre-existing community seems related but it’s not English:
https://szmer.info/c/noborder (not English)

There is also !crimes_of_ice@lemmy.4d2.org

Welcome to the nostalgia-filled piefed instance of yesteryear.

Open Registration with Application questionnaire.

If you have a question or comment you can post in !meta@retrofed.com or message @DosDude@retrofed.com or @Die4Ever@retrofed.com

In case of downtime and/or emergency, we will post updates on @DosDude@mastodon.social

Some rules we try to uphold:

Be civil. Bigotry is not welcome. This includes (but is not limited to): transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ageism and ableism. We do not promote hate.
Communities need to be Retro or Retro-adjacent.
Please don't upload pornographic content. (use an external image host for that)
