RetroFed Forum

A community to share pictures of well-known people and their doppelgangers.

Rules

Rule 1: Post Title Format

Title should be in one of the following formats (without the brackets):

[Person or Thing] TLL [Other Person or Thing]
[Person or Thing] Totally Looks Like [Other Person or Thing]

Rule 2: Posts Should Be Side-by-Side Images

Posts should be images with a side-by-side comparison of the two.

Rule 3: Political Figures are Okay...for Now

There's no rule against political figures as long as it doesn't become a problem. This is not a political memes community, so we'll see how this goes and take things one post at a time and reflect later. Rule #4 also applies

Rule 4: Must Describe How They Look

Must be describing how they look. e.g. No "[Bad Person] looks like 💩" unless they literally look like a poo emoji.

Rule 5: Keep it in Good Fun/Good Faith

Keep it all in good fun. We're not here to disparage anyone because of their appearance nor is that allowed. Posts should also not come across as harassing. This will be strictly enforced.

Rule 6: OC is Preferred

Posting things from the somehow still online Cheezburger site is fine but let's try to post original content when possible.

Welcome to the nostalgia-filled piefed instance of yesteryear.

Open Registration with Application questionnaire.

If you have a question or comment you can post in !meta@retrofed.com or message @DosDude@retrofed.com or @Die4Ever@retrofed.com

In case of downtime and/or emergency, we will post updates on @DosDude@mastodon.social

Some rules we try to uphold:

Be civil. Bigotry is not welcome. This includes (but is not limited to): transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ageism and ableism. We do not promote hate.
Communities need to be Retro or Retro-adjacent.
Please don't upload pornographic content. (use an external image host for that)
