UAE has big money and likes megaprojects, have they started digging a channel between Ras Al-Khaimah and Zaghi? Some tidy profits if they can do it.

A barrel of oil is about 160 litres, and the biggest liquid transporter trucks usually hold about 60000 litres. That's 375 barrels per truck.

This ain't going to work.

Why don't they just use the eagles to fly the oil to Mordor America?

If these kingdoms had built a pipeline skirting the strait, I guess it would still have been susceptible to missile & drone attack, and a 500-mile long, deep-underground pipeline was out of the question.

People just don't understand the scale of these global systems, which is understandable since the numbers are incomprehensible. They think what they see in daily life represents one cell of a giant organism, but its more like one atom.

I know Saudi Arabia does have and east west pipeline that they can use to ship oil out and bypass the strait I just assume it doesnt have the capacity to match all the ships that usually take all the oil.

I always thought an Emirati Canal would probably make a whole lot of sense whenever Iran gets uppity (or vice versa, in this case).

Sure, it would still be susceptible to attack, but doing so would draw the UAE into war as well, and they'd have the ability to place land-based air defense along its route

A canal along that approximate path would be "only" 34km. Questionable whether that, or a 500km buried pipeline, would be easier.

There is no reason to spend billions of dollars on a rail line that is not needed as long as Zionists do not start an unnecessary war.

Maybe Zionists could stop their death cult beliefs instead of making the rest of us pay for their psycho-fairy tale crap.

And what? For one thing my point is well made if not technically by truck and second see that pipe that cuts off in the middle of the desert that follows almost the exact same path as the meme? They have to truck it the rest of the way.

Edit: Also if your point is we don't have enough infrastructure that is because it is expensive which was exactly my point.

5367 truck in 1 hour or 100 truck and 3 days to move it? I think it might work

It's pretty clear you don't really comprehend the volumes of oil going through Hormuz here when you say truck it the rest of the way.

A rail way is actually cheaper and easier to build than a road.

No, you really couldn't physically move that much oil on trucks in any realistic scenario.

Really? You think there's a law of physics that prevents this?

For one thing we could build trucks much much bigger if we wanted to, we could build them as big as tankers if we wanted to, and in the middle of the desert it would not be hard to get permission.

we would never build them that big because we would just build more pipes, or send multiple trucks, or dig a trench, or dig a canal, or any numerous options.

they would just be expensive relative to the free pass through the strait.

But if that strait is no longer free the relative price goes down and the oil makes enough money to cover it a thousand times over.

Did I ever mention the rail vs road cost? Two massively dumb ideas that are infinitely worse than just not killing Iranians.

It’s actually very easy to not kill people and raise energy prices worldwide.

I think you're underestimating the sheer scale of the endeavor. It would need to cross several deserts, a mountain range and an international border. As drawn in the image there's almost 800km, let's say, between Abu dabi and Al Ashkara. Being very generous with the geography, a costly project like this could run for $10 MM per Km or about $8 Bn just for the construction (probably more as it would not be a straight line), plus maintenance (in this place it could be up to 30% of the construction cost a year), plus rolling stock and operation costs. Feeding and getting water to those workers would be a logistics nightmare in the middle of the desert. Another couple of billions for unloading and loading facilities that could handle millions of barrels daily, to be built from scratch.

That's before even reaching the question of timeframes. Rail can be built really fast, but fast is roughly one kilometer of rail a month. Assuming all permits, contracts and administrative load can be fast tracked (it can take years to design and approve a project of this scale), it would take 66 work years (surely distributed between several work crews) to complete a new heavy railway. Which balloons the cost by a 50% factor for each new crew to accelerate construction.

For reference, the Australian, Adelaide to Darwin rail line is 4 times longer than this. Its construction started in 1910 and was finished in 2004. So, Oman-UAE should have this rail in place and operating no sooner than 2045 if they rush very hard.

By the time the new rail is laid out, Israel would've completed their genocide of Iran.

Really, it's not economical or practical to do this in the slightest. Laws of physics have fuck all to do with it. Also, a giant hole in that genius plan of yours is that Iran can just bomb this infrastructure like they're doing with all the other infrastructure in the region right now. But thank you for taking your valuable time away from sniffing glue to grace us with your invaluable insight.

not blowing things up unnecessarily costs way less than any building projects. Even if the rails were built, not a lot of things are stopping it from getting struck by missiles.

Iran can't bomb Shit without missiles, do you understand how defeationist this is? Like oh no we can't go to war with a country that is building an atomic bomb and chanting death to America an waging war on civilization and torturing civilians because it is physically impossible to build a pipe or drive a truck.

I love how you scumbags think that you can just invade countries whenever you like without any consequences. Last I checked it's the burger reich that has the second most nuclear weapons in the world, and the only country depraved enough to actually use them. And you suck fucks run a literal torture camp on a territory you annexed from Cuba. You don't get to talk about human rights. Your regime is responsible for the worst human rights abuses in human history. Your whole shithole country was founded on a genocide. And yeah, you losers can't defeat Iran just like you couldn't defeat Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, or Yemen. You're just a bunch of fascist losers and you can get fucked.

Iran can’t bomb Shit without missiles

Good thing Iran has a fuckton of them in stock still and a large industry cranking out more.

If you’re getting your information from US spokespeople or corporate media, then you’re being grossly misinformed, because that’s what their job is. Nothing whatsoever has changed since the “weapons of mass destruction” con, ~23 years ago.

waging war on civilization and torturing civilians

That is what is called “manufacturing consent.” Consent for what? Consent for war with Iran, just like they manufactured consent for war with Iraq ~23 years ago.

Stop being a patsy for empire.

That’s not how anything works. It can’t be done in time even with an infinite amount of money. Money doesn’t magically transform into infrastructure overnight. There are no magic infrastructure gnomes.
