I've heard the phrase "largest state sponsor of terrorism" thrown around, but honestly I feel like it wasn't even mentioned until well after everything had started and it wasn't an immediate success like they must've thought it would be. No idea if it's true at all. And there's always "we gotta stop them from getting nukes".

Basically it's whatever they can think of in the moment in the rare instance they get questioned about it. They've also said all goals have been met since like, at least a week ago, so now I guess it's just for the love of the game.

I'm getting the feeling they just put a dancing clown in front of us so we don't start talking about real problems and demanding solutions for them.
