what if instead of "the author's barely disguised fetish" it was blatantly obvious but done in the most mundane way possible, like you got a 100-foot tall woman in the story but the focus is a complex legal battle about her struggle to get planning permission for a house her size and not much else
get the findom guy in the writer's room but just before the main character can send hundreds of dollars to a hot babe he realises he needs the money for groceries, so then the show just follows him doing that and taking 10 minutes to decide if spending a lil extra for the organic peppers is worth it
