This is a whole thing about clones and engineering a new body and mind transfers, the tldr is this is evil beast and he's made himself a new body with white fur for some reason

Oh okay. I missed that dark beast got a new body. I'm assuming dark beast (evil beast) is the same one from the AoA timeline.

I think I remember reading about Krakoa and Beast goes a little bit too evil with X-Force. Someone brings a beast from the past to talk sense into Krakoa beast. I haven't been reading the more recent runs.

im guessing he also has some degree of androgen insensitivity. having crazy high testosterone youd expect large muscles, lots of facial hair, male pattern baldness, a low voice, but hes not that big, has at least thin facial hair that he shaves, a full head of hair, and a relatively high voice. idk if any version of androgen insensitivity is associated with very high testosterone levels but i w...

Might not have the hair for too long. Though you might. Depends on the tolerance for testosterone. Just know that high testosterone and baldness are highly correlated

Iirc, keeping or losing your hair as a guy has to do with DHT receptors in your hair follicles. T doesn't make your hair fall out, but DHT does, and your body produces more DHT as you get older (hence why finastride works as a hair loss inhibitor - it blocks DHT from the receptors in your hair). But only the hair on the top of your head is sensitive to this, with sensitivity higher in some places than others. Hence, some guys bald on the crown first, while some have a receding hairline first, and some never bald at all.

IIRC that’s why most labs require multiple samples but IANAMD. Transient elevation is possible without long term aberrant effects, though the result will have to be explained to future doctors and insurance underwriters who will want to know if it was due to poorly-managed / self-administered HRT or an unchecked gonadal growth. He's one of the smartest youtubers I routinely watch. And yeah, crazy high testosterone, although you might never guess. I generally would assume someone with that much testosterone would have some facial hair.

At that level of androgen, some of the androgen will be transformed into estrogen.

He was actually originally grey. That was a thing for a lot of Marvel characters in their early years; they kept wanting to do a grey character but they kept needing to change it. Happened to the Hulk, Iron Man and Beast.

He was originally a normal looking dude.

If you remove the anomaly, which may be due to an accidental additional digit, that correlation coefficient may climb a bit.

IMHO, they plotted an independent variable over random noise. The one gigathad changes nothing.

It wasn't so much that they wanted a gray character; early printing just didn't do color all that well and a lot of characters started out gray because of printing errors.

Well he has endorsed a lot of people over the years, actually went on tour after the 2024 election ended to get people across the USA more involved in politics at every level and vowing to support then in the midterms.

I follow him on YouTube and he does A LOT of rallies. They seem pretty cool, they always have some local musicians play a few songs before he goes on.

It wasn't that Luigi heightened awareness it was that heightened awareness led to a Luigi (not to say Luigi's actions were a reasonable response, mind you).

UHC had been in the news for months for their overt corruption. Many legislators had already publicly condemned them whiched to some limited policy reversal around the time of the assassination.

Why is he still in his seat when he's well past retirement age? Why doesn't he have a successor? He's 84.

RBG was 87 when she died, and she held onto that position long enough to have a Republican appoint her replacement.

I like Bernie but I'm concerned why he hasn't passed the touch.

I think there's a clear correlation there, but the axes are reversed: testosterone can't be the dependent variable of IQ score. Reversing the axes makes the gradient look incredibly steep, but that's only because of the obviously incorrect anomaly. r=0.435 is very much not a strong correlation, but it's not zero either, especially with a sample size this enormous.

Yes! Free oestrogen is not actually a particularly good thing if you’re not on antiandrogens and pointless if you are. E-maxxing is sadly money down the drain.

If you believe it is organic you can find over 115 of them right up there. Luigi Cultists, who reject the reality of his impact and substitute their own.

Though, given how hard it is to get that much engagement on a post much less a comment, it most certainly is not organic.

I mean what would you call AOC, and Mandami, there's no torch, Bernie is 1 of 100 senators. He's never tried to sell himself as some special perfect person. Isn't any time he endorses someone that passing the torch. He doesn't have to step down to have an air apparent. I'm sure if someone with good ideas went to run in vermont he'd probably step down for it. but right now the game is national, and he's playing it on a national level.

Okay sooo... what does your OP have to do with Senator Bernie Sanders again? It's not like it's impossible to support multiple paths of action, that's pretty par for the course in political movements. You shitting on one for not having immediate success just strikes as hypocritical and, ironically, not useful to the movement.

But those bots, oof yeah. big-luigi at it again siccing dozens of phoney Lemmy downvotes on poor, uh, you. If it wasn't for them then I and everyone else would probably agree with you.

If you become a Luigi Mangione you can never become a Bernie Sanders. Mutual exclusivity. Even if you become a political icon it will always be clear that you prefer the path of violence over all other action.

He's posted very little on it. Last we heard they didn't find any cancers or anything and he wasn't really suffering from it. He had some strange symptoms and it it just came up in tests that didn't like up with what he was there for. But it was really really high.

(Sorry. Had to.)

An 84 year old shouldn't be in that position no matter how they outwardly appear. He's doing a fine job but he could be doing a better job helping to build more "1 in 100"s to make a change.
