Alan Ritchson is pretty great. He's super funny and from everything I've seen an actual good person. His action movies and shows are good too, he's one of the "do your own stunts" types and he seems to put forward a lot of effort in his roles.

its a good show and mostly do to his portrayal of the character. I liked the shows but now im going to be looking for things with him in it even more.

Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare was a flawed movie that nevertheless showed him and Henry Cavil going to town on Nazis in WWII. Ritchson plays a meek, nice librarian-like fellow who is absolutely jacked and has no mercy for any German he catches while on mission.

Yea, that movie was very entertaining, but entirely inaccurate. But Cavil and Ritchson are two of my favs right now.

I think it's a good show with an excellent format, which makes it punch well above it's weight. It doesn't play games with cliff hangers, or episodic drivel. Each season is essentially four movies worth of contained story.
