Do yourself a favor and record your boss fights so you can remember how it went afterwards. Rewatching my fights is fascinating to me because I can clearly see a shift in my own confidence and how I approached every fight, with the biggest difference being visible in my victory against true Eigong. I've rewatched my fights more times than I'd like to admit. And give Eigong my regards. She's the...

Lol. I look forward to getting stuck on her for a long time then! In my current situation with Lady Ethereal, I know what I need to be doing but my fingers get flusterfucked in those third stage attack flurries. I've been a few hits off winning a couple of times so I'm nearly there.

That game has arguably the best curated playlist ever.

It introduced me to 3 Inches of Blood, along with Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and Skate 3.

It also had some good Tenacious D songs (of course), Children of Bodom, Ozzy/Black Sabbath, Saxon, Motorhead...

did you complete the whole game or just 1 playthrough?

I'm still finishing up my last few puzzles. But probably don't ask leading questions like that for a game like this.

Signalis. It sat in my library for years before I mustered the courage to play it (I'm too much of a good audience when it comes to horror, these games spook the fuck out of me). It's a masterpiece.

Prey (2017)

If you loved immersive sims like BioShock, Deus Ex and System Shock 2, you need to play this one.

It was a sales failure so you can get it dirt cheap on most platforms.. especially Steam (when it's on sale)

Deathloop was good too. If you put 0451 into the first door Colt will say "heh, old habits die hard "

Disco Elysium (2019) - I only played it last year, and it immediately became one of my favourite games <3

odd to think that it originally didn't have full voice acting - the amazing performances feel so essential to the game's atmosphere

Space Station 13. I was intrigued when my partner at the time told me about it in, like 2005? but I only ever tried its more modern remake, Space Station 14, about two or three years ago. Basically, think of it as the game Among Us is a "demake" of. Folks work various jobs on a space station, most of them to keep it running and to keep everyone healthy and fed and entertained and busy, but some...

So did you prefer 13 over 14 then?

I never played 13. I find 14 to be lovely and I recommend 14, but I can't compare the two firsthand

I played BOTW first and then TOTK. The world is the same (without underworld and sky), but there are changes off course. Still lot of places, characters and enemies are the same. There will be stuff you will be missing in BOTW (building mechanic in example or custom teleport places, or weapons break faster because you cannot attach anything to it). So it doesn't feel like a complete new game, a...

exactly the information i was looking for. i am gonna go ahead and give it a play. thanks!
