qrstuv complains that he got banned in subs that he had "never heard of" but looks like the reason he got banned is he went to those very subs to downvote a bunch of stuff. So I'm not thinking this is a real thing. lol

Even the OP's complaint of the post you were responding do was BS. He says never heard of those communities, but looks like he was downvoting a bunch of posts in those communities, which seems to part of his schtick. He wrote "subreddits" on purpose to get people riled up. The whole thing is BS from the beginning that you got pulled into.

Sure, it's kinda dumb and goofy. But at least now you know it wasn't serious, and your ban is only temp. When your ban is up in a couple of days, you can go and participate and even post your ban from there in there. Then you'll get a bunch of "So sorry that happened to you" And "poop in jail" comments.

I personally think that Lemmy is too serious most of the time. Not that I'm a huge fan of that comm's humor, but it can be fun to roll with it sometimes.
