I interpreted it as season 4 being all fluff and little substance. |

I interpreted it as season 4 being all fluff and little substance.
It’s sadly a pretty low bar, but I’d say season 4 is showing more substance than season 3 did at this point in its run. I’m feeling like season 2 is going to turn out to be the show’s peak. Hopefully I’m wrong. |

It feels like the marshmallows in the cereal of season two (Lower Decks crossover, musical episode) were so well received they decided to go with all marshmallows (gimmicky episodes)for the first half of this season. |

I got bored after episode 3. Also, that episode makes me thing, what happend with the barman they recruit for the ship in many episodes before? |

They should interval the mushroom episodes with the more serious ones. |
