Some favorites off the top of my head that I haven't seen mentioned yet: Don Hertzfeldt's World of Tomorrow Bill Plympton's I Married a Strange Person Richard Linklater's Waking Life Ryan Larkin's Walking
Great! I've only seen waking life of those, but will jump right on those shorts, and Plympton's film sounds fascinating. Thanks. |

Very cool, representation matters. Do you have a favorite song? The original Disney one?
OG A Whole New World. I hum the end of One Jump Ahead all the time.

one jump ahead rocks, I used to sing a few lines of that to myself all the time. In fact, I just sang it with some friends at a karaoke bar a few months ago. a whole new world is great too. |

Oh I haven't played League of Legends in 20 years, I didn't realize that show was based on the game. Yes, animated show sounds like it counts to me! Sounds really interesting, France takes its animation so seriously. I will look into the show, thanks.
It is! Or rather, on the world and character of the game, but not really the game itself I guess, from what I can gather 😅 tbh I think it's an advantage to not be familiar with the game, because that way I wasn't able to foresee some of the twists and character developments that are quite obvious to someone who knows these characters. Definitely check it out, both the animation and the writing are absolutely top-notch! Just, uh, have tissues ready |

I can never pick just one for these things. I'll really try to limit though. Lilo and Stitch. It's just a perfect story, great style, and just an all around good time. Who didn't love something cute and fluffy? Adventure Time. Great adventure, basically a show that animated what my imagination felt like as a kid. I'll get to play a DnD game set in Ooo one day (actually want to use Wyrmwood Wand...
I hadn't seen Angel's Egg, that was greeeat, I want to get the soundtrack. I'm open to any other recommendations you may have, thanks. |

Really just the classics. In no particular order here's my list of weird animated movies.

Really just the classics. In no particular order here's my list of weird animated movies. Heavy Metal (also Fritz the Cat for more adult animated film) Paprika King of Thorn (for some reason this one is never highly rated. I really liked it but haven't revisited it since college) Fantastic Planet (probably closest in vibe to Angels Egg) 9 Wizards Night on the Galactic Railroad (not actually see...
Awesome, I havent seen or herad of half of these. They look great, I will definitely check them out. Thanks! |
