Earlier this week, Senator Matt Canavan responded to new evidence of widespread sexism and misogyny in Australian schools by blaming what he called the “feminisation” of education. Too many female teachers, too few male role models and too much feminism in the curriculum, he suggested, were helping to push boys towards the manosphere. A more misinformed and complete inversion of the problem is hard to imagine.
