Explanation: The somewhat-unhinged dictator of Albania, Enver Hoxha, built 750,000 bunkers during the Cold War, paranoid that he would have to fight a two-front war against NATO and the Warsaw Pact simultaneously.

It, uh, was not a good investment of resources.

I still see them every summer, tons of them remaining there.
