My roommate’s mother asked if she could borrow one of my books while visiting. Of course I said yes. Jokingly added “Don’t dog-ear my pages or I’ll come for you! Haha.” and she said “Oh, I try not to do that with other people’s books.” “…” How do you politely rescind consent for something like that? |
