Basically yeah. Hearing it from Bruce Campbell's perspective, the plot killing off the rest of the characters meant they could send the rest of the cast home and then Sam and Bruce had time to fuck around, mostly at Bruce's expense. Not that he hadn't also kicked the shit out of the other actors, there's a video out on Youtube of Bruce and the four women from the film basically trading war stories about that film, getting goo in their eyes, being thrown down stairs, having that cellar door shut on their hands...

Joker is a thriller, Joker 2 is a musical.

Friday the 13th is a slasher, Jason X is scifi horror.
