Yesterday was eventful.

I wanted to catch a train to go meet a friend, but something happened somewhere up the line and the trains were cancelled. So I got a Bolt instead.

Then, the art exhibit we wanted to go to was delayed! It was actually awesome, all things considered, but the timing was all screwed up. We met the artist behind it and spoke with her a little bit; she was great.

Anyway, we stayed too long so we had to run to catch the metro, but still we missed the start of the concert we wanted to go to! The local symphonic orchestra. It was nevertheless fantastic, but we were only allowed in about 10 minutes past start time... We missed one of the pieces they were performing. We weren't the only late losers, but it was still painful, though the concert itself was amazing. The second piece they played was confusing, off-putting even, but it was still cool. The last piece, the one the concert was named after, was brilliant.

Then, we went to have dinner at a ramen spot, which was nice, but the portions were, and I kid you not, TOO BIG! It was too much food! I also vaguely regret the ramen I selected, but it was delicious anyway, I can't really complain.

We made it home and watched In the Mood for Love. We've both watched it before, but it's such a great movie that it's OK, really.

My friend spent the night, and in the morning we went to a cafe for breakfast, and then to the pool for a little while.

The she went home!

It was lots of fun.

Now, these next 3 days are going to be my last at my current job, before a short 11 day interlude of joblessness, followed by, hopefully, a nice experience at my next job. We shall see. This Wednesday I already planned to meet up with my friend, go for some regional sweets, watch a movie, have dinner, and go back home!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wore jeans, and shall be wearing jeans for the rest of the 3 days of work.
