I moved to Hampton Roads and actually have decent access to Amtrak (although haven't had the money to go anywhere since we've been here), but the VAST majority of the nation has no easy access.

I'd much prefer that we had like half as much rail as we do air travel. I'd like it to be super common, and I'd like to take it everywhere :)
