For me the issue is that opening the fridge is a Men in Black memory flash thing. I go, "get milk!", *opens fridge*, "... why did I open the fridge?"
Ooh pickles! |

Are you talking about the big foam cylinder that you lie on top of and roll back and forth? Or something else
I think they mean the wheel with the handles where you kneel and roll it forward and back to work your abs. |

Exercising regularly and eating healthy and then experiencing the benefits of easier sleep and feeling happier is so frustrating. The worst feeling came with the realisation that all those annoying gym junkie “you are what you eat”, “eat less, move more” douchebags are correct about everything. Why would it sense spicy? To remind you of the choices you made earlier?
It senses spicy, because spicy isn't actually a form of taste, but rather just your pain sensors being triggered by a chemical, like for example capsaicin (chilis) or piperine (black pepper). Wikipedia says for capsaicin:
So, I guess, the butthole would in a sense be good at feeling temperature, but only for excessive/painful heat. But also, people generally report that this problem largely goes away when they start using a bidet. |

You can pull out the dishwasher cutlery basket and take it to the cutley drawer, instead of taking them one by one. |

In most of the places I’ve lived, I’ve had hot water fixtures that gradually started dripping again no matter how tightly I turned them off—I figured the problem was that the valves were weakened from being overtightened, and I was faced with the tradeoff of continuing to overtighten them and gradually make the problem worse, or undertighten them and deal with the drip. But recently I realized ...

For a long time, I thought, I had a pretty good technique for cutting bell peppers by cutting near the indents, so I could easily remove the white strips. Then decided one day to look up how chefs do it. And yeah, my technique was garbage in comparison. 😅 The technique that I now use, is to cut off the stem, so you can place it upside down onto the cutting board. And then slice downwards betwee...
I just looked this up and Gordon Ramsey's video popped up. That looks crazy easy 😯 Thanks for the tip 😆 |

Putting clothes I want to change into later/the following day in a packing cube. It saves going through drawers and the closet to decide what to wear when I’m trying to get my brain going or distracted.
I have a clothes valet for this, my husband uses a chair. The advantage of my valet is that it has 2 rails - one for my "semi-clean", I-can-wear-it-again clothes, one for clean outfits I'm planning. Even faster than having to fold and fit stuff in a packing cube 😉 |

If I had a vag, I would be wiping from the front toward the back. But I have balls, so not a concern anyway. Take paper -> reach behind me (rocking forward a little as necessary) -> wipe from balls towards spine. Presto, ass is wiped without standing up or dirtying the proverbial vagina.
That would work for women too. Important is the direction towards the spine, not towards the genitalia. |

An alternative that I do with my parents: "I told you not to buy this locked Samsung phone filled with adware (or antivirus subscription), throw it in the trash and buy a real phone that is cheaper, I'm not helping you anymore because you don't listen to me." (Yes, it's a rant but it works) |

I used to feel that the dishwasher should be full for efficiency, environmental reasons, water bill, and such. Then, I added a water flow meter to my Home Assistant setup. A full dishwasher cycle uses 4 gallons of water. Four. Gallons. Yeah, run that thing when you need it.
Some of us live in places with drought issues. |

I'm not sure how refreshed I want my asshole to be...
You think that now. I used to make butt spray and put it in little spray foam dispensers in the bathroom. You could spray it on toilet paper to make a flushable wipe. It normally has a little lavender castille soap in it but once i accidentally bought the ginger soap and my husband complained that it was too spicy. |

When trying to get the last bit of pasta sauce from a jar, don't bother with a rubber spatula/pot licker. Generally you need to add a bit of water to the pot at some point anyway, because some of that moisture is boiling off. So instead, after you pour most of the sauce into the pot, add that water up front by putting a little bit to the jar, closing the lid and shaking, and now add that to the pot. |

I pull out the cutlery basket, unload it directly from the counter by the silverware drawer. Then I go back and pull out the entire top rack and do the same, then the bottom. I only have to walk back to the dishwasher 3 times. |

Dude, that is so fucking gross. I pray you are joking. I knew a dude who claimed he didn't bother to wipe his ass at all if he was going to get into the shower. Never saw someone blacklisted by his social peers so hard. But straight up shitting in the shower? Hell, just shit in the kitchen sink. Or outside on the lawn and leave it. |

In a lot of dishwashers, the silverware goes in its own little detachable caddy. Instead of reaching over to the dishwasher to load and unload every fork and knife, just pick up the caddy and collect all the silverware, or take it directly to where its stored and unload it there. Edit: someone beat me to it, haha |

I have a metal disk from a hard drive that I keep on a suction cup in my shower to use as a mirror. Works wonderfully. |

I was concerned about that too, but I finally went ahead and got one, and it's really not bad. With how briefly the water is in contact, it just hasn't been an issue. We have fridge temp cold water from our tap as well. We got a Rinseworks 360 hand bidet, and after trying it for a while I got another one. Definitely reccomend it. |

Also, if you sort your silverware before starting the dishwasher, unloading will be faster |

For comparison, my daily shower, with a low-flow shower head, uses 12 to 13 gallons. Hand-washing a large item, like a cooking pot, can take several gallons. |

just wanted to add that shaving in the shower at the end or doing it in the bath right after is great as the steam and such really gets your skin in the right condition to shave. I even do it without shaving cream or soap in the shower because you can just keep your skin real wet. |

First off, there's thing called humor. Perhaps you haven't heard of it, perhaps you don't see it here. There's also this thing called context. Earlier comments were talking about cold water. "Cold" varies from region to region. In my area it comes out at about 4° C. I have no problem washing my ass and am not a baboon. Nor am I inclined toward name-calling. I just prefer to use something closer to skin temperature than it is to ice. |

I should calculate it, but I wouldn't be surprised if my water flow sensor uses more electricity in a year than the dishwasher. It's very low-current, but it's on 24/7. |

Our kids defaulted to this when they were first learning, because they were excited to see and then remembered they needed to wipe too. Teaching them to wipe before standing took some extra time, I wonder if that got skipped for you? Or your parents, who passed that on? |

I do have a mirror in the shower for that purpose. Whenever I use conditioner in my hair I rub some on my face as well and that works great to shave with |
