You know, I understand they're dealing with a rough topic with humor, and I appreciate that.

But why are we censoring? I would rather get hit hard with words that hurt to read. I would rather know that the people that might learn something from this get the full force of it.

I've kinda gotten a bit tired of her comics. It's because so many of them now are basically "BAD THING BAD" with very little substance to them. I already know this bad thing is bad. Just telling me it's bad doesn't do anything.

This one hits hard though. It actually makes you think. It's actually bringing light to a real issue that not everyone may realize is there. It makes me feel for all of the people that have been through that problem and never realized it.

I don't generally follow the blather on current events. Are there actually a significant group of women out there saying that penetrative gang rape isn't "rape enough"?

It’s not so much that as it’s there are a lot of women who don’t realize or refuse to acknowledge that what happened to them was sexual assault and/or rape. Because acknowledging that can be almost as hard as the assault/rape itself.

I had to explain to my 50+ yo friend that it was not ok that old men used to touch her butt and grab her sides during unwelcome hugs when she was in her 20s. Thankfully nothing worse happened to her, but it took some time for her to understand it was sexual assault and that those men were wrong to do what they did. She isn’t one to go around talking down to sexual assault and rape victims though.

Another friend I had a long time ago, it took time to convince that her boyfriend raped her when she was first penetrated. She didn’t want it to be true, but she did eventually accept it. Heck, I had a hard time accepting that I was raped, it took me a while before I could acknowledge it to myself.

Edit: I do want to say that those types of women do exist unfortunately

I just got worried, with things being as crazy as they are now with the magats and the manosphere, that there was a serious outgrowth of discourse consisting of women who justify Cornell in the same way women used to write off lesser SA and partner rape.
