I've seen the trilogy at least 2 or 3 times, all back to back marathons (which is hard, but doable). But old mates INSISTED a 6pm to 5am run. All the times, I've been a zombie by the time we got to movie 3. Local cinema did a marathon. 10am to 11pm. I still needed to wash my face a few times near the end, but my god, I was invested. I knew the happy ending, but I was super invested in the climb between the Shelob bite and Mt Doom, that moment of silence before "For Frodo". Was like I was reading the books for the first time again... |
