I built Airvia because I wanted my Android phone to play on my HomePod, and nothing free actually spoke real AirPlay 2. Airvia captures your phone's audio output — Spotify, YouTube Music, podcasts, radio, almost any app — and streams it to your speakers:
Honest limits: apps can opt out of audio capture and DRM output is never captured, and AirPlay's buffer means a second or two of delay — great for music and podcasts, not for lip-syncing video. It's free and open source (MIT). APK and source are on GitHub — feedback and bug reports welcome, especially from anyone with receivers I don't own. Built by me, an independent developer — I designed it, decided every feature, and tested everything on my own devices. It’s built on top of open-source projects. |
