Then your perspective is all screwed up, as I am in an anarchist instance, posting in an anarchist/c/, and precisely condemn a generation oppressing me&you? I am not a Senator. Compost them.

God it's ironic when Anarchists can't help but sow division. Just the number of times you tried to make it personal, or push purity politics... such ridiculous behaviours. Clearly you've never met an elder anarchist in your life? You think there's just been no boomer anarchists before you, in a similar position to you? Or just that they didn't do anything?

You don't think you'll be one, one day?

Take a step back, breath, and reread this thread, as you have been talking to the Lily Tomlin all this time.
Sometimes taking a breather, and retrospecting, you see a different perspective you didn't see possible.

And the liberal keeps punching down, instead of up. What's that Carlos? You want to show the dark cloud how based and uplifting it is to vanguard the youngsters?

Chill out mother fucker.

Look I think a far more interesting conversation could be had about how identity, age, and financial demographics come together to either co-opt, or NOT co-opt a persons politics, in terms of the actions/options they're willing to take.

Some people get old, maybe they "get serious", try to have a normal life, and so end up with some sort of centrist liberal politics. These could be said to be the people most served by the system (and so most co-opted). But you do also get people who live a similar life, but due to various pressures, and insecurities - stay agile, flexible, and principled. They can become older anarchists, older organizers, protestors, donors.

But that special characteristic of life, or empathy, or upbringing, or struggle, or community contact, that makes the difference hasn't been well defined.

Class isolationism seems to be an aspect.... that different countries have isolated classes from each other, where elites have a trajectory that essentially keeps them away from the poor in every strata of existence. Gated communities, private offices, elite clubs, that sort of thing. Where as other countries, don't have as much of that, or even better - some countries have an ethos or spirit of being with "the people".

This is due to different histories and politics playing out in different places. But there are also just certain people, who keep their politics as they age. They keep reading the news, keep seeing the problem. That's fine too. What this says about how society changes, the rate and types of change, how much older people, or people who become more financially well off, are willing to enact of their politics in the different countries is the question. Why do some people retain empathy, and others lose it.

Politics ultimately comes from the questions of empathy and communion. You're younger (or so we are assuming), I understand you being an anarchist, full of disgruntled energy looking for how you can change the world.

Follow that, and you'll find you have a series of interactions with people. Probably not a Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, or a Trump, but just people.... people from all sides of politics. Yes you can get into fights with them, yes you can try to undermine them, or declare moral superiority....

But eventually, to communicate, you need some degree of shared dialogue. I'm a humanist, that means if you want to improve the world FOR HUMANITY, you have to have empathy for humanity... and I hate that. I hate that I do have some empathy, for some rich kid somewhere, whose being yelled at by his racist father, and stressed out, popping pills, and hoping to get into Yale so that he can take over as the CEO of an industry.

That person, who will eventually become the culpable boomer, the worst - goes through a cultural and psychological system... to manufacture the type of person capable of cold hearted reproduction of a system they that has deeply damaged them in order to produce them. In order to reproduce a kind of brutality, an environment destroying industry to perpetuate family status and wealth.

That kind of person can end up in the kind of cults of rich people indulge in: Effective Altruism, Technocracy, or simple white supremacism. Because those elements offer them a release and excuse, recreation for the damaged soul. We can name the billionaires who play with each of those cults.

But ultimately, to understand the shaping of identities and psychologies that perpetuate Capitalism as a death spiral - you have to be able to interface, and analyse all classes, and have an effective message for all of them if you want to produce a positive large scale change. Luckily, that responsibility isn't a burden for any one of us, but for all of us. As we all make culture.

We progress as a planet, as a culture. This is especially true in the age of the internet, and globalization. If I am to do some "retrospecting" it will be as an alien, looking down on how small our conflicts are, how far and personal our infighting goes, as we don't realize the species must come together as a whole. Left /right, up/down, and sideways.... because we all create the cultural software that we all operate on.... and changing the system, is a matter of changing the deepest foundations of how we operate in the world.

That means understanding, something of each other.

That's all verbose and very introspective of you.
But fascists are livestream our deaths.
They make bets if we are going to suicide or not.

In communing with a fascist regime, means you have to get your hands dirty and bury a lot of killers. You way think a rich Nazi is a human that needs to be empathized, but they have no such considerations when calculating the next girl they have to gang rape.

Are you going to continue apologizing for our oppressors,
or do I have to remind you what it really takes to humanize a deathcult?

If you really think those are the issues of the day, or of this post.... give some sources and statistics.

Are you fantasizing about this, or are you talking about ACAB, or is this just vibe poetry? Who are these fascists. I guess you're a young anarchist so I assume you're talking about police. Police repression is a function of the state, which is a function of voting, and culture.... which leads us back to empathy cultures, vs, isolation cultures.

Have you seen this video? It explains a lot of why things are how they are.

But yes, fascists lack empathy (And ergo, the Paradox of Tolerance principle arises) - but you haven't bothered to ask WHY fascists come into being.

Are you going to continue apologizing for our oppressors

Oh I thought you were smarter than to mistake questions of why, and how-to-prevent, as mere apologia. You do revert to personal attacks and purity politics awfully quickly don't you.

Anyways, I see that's your preference, to be angry, lash out, fail to understand, and hence fail to change anything. If that's your preference - perhaps you need a few more years venting, and being the angry boi. Good luck with that.

Of the hour*

young anarchist

Told you who I am, my literature, praxis, and generation

Try again, bub.

Have you seen this video?

I have not only taught CGP Grey his current liberal education, but continue to teach politics through our youngest with hands-on-play.

you haven’t bothered to ask WHY fascists come into being.

The same exact questioning I asked you define when we started conversing about the generational larceny of wealth. Why did you felt even remotely apologetic to defend the mythic-truth ruling class? You keep evading it, as if I am not aware of how Mussolini rose his, Hitler’s, and how George Lincoln Rockwell’s maintained his for so long. Maybe you don't comprehend how the Third Reich has already set its black sun in the West.

Good luck with that.

No. Heil Pete Hegseth. Bernie just needs one more ballot from you to end US Nazism for good. You haven't prevented shit, and it's time to be honest about how much bloodshed your country continues to cause. Stop wasting our time. Iran, Venezuela, Palestine, Ukraine, and Greenland need your “interventions” again.

Well, there's this thing called global cultural hegemony...

Did I mention we live in the age of the internet and globalization?

Anyways, it's probably above your head. Don't worry about it. Like I said earlier: Chill out mother fucker.

Yes, but at the same time, aren't people still voting for cheap gas?

Let's vote for cheap gas by making it so obsolete that the supply way outpaces the demand. 😤

Fascism is caused by alienation, racism and entitlement. Rightwing agitators often (but are not always) a funding source. More often than not young men who believe themselves aggreived or hard-done-by are targetted by recruiters looking to pray on their vulnerability, need for community and lack of political education.

Fascism is not generally considered a product of advocating for empathy (I'm not advocating for empathy with fascists, or rightwing tech billionaires), so where's the irony? Or do you just feel like acting smug and superior today.

Fascism is a lack of empathy.

I linked to, and agree with the paradox of tolerance principle (see above). Hence being against billionaires (even if I am interested in their conditioning. You can be against something and still have an interest in what made it that way).

Fuck people are dumb and smug these days, and you wonder what brought us here. The culture is full of idiots who lack nuanced thought/discernment/comprehension.

Most people of all gens keep doing the same unhealthy indoctrination, stay in dualistic thinking rather than grow and actualize. They numb blindly to the algorithms. Bad policies produce bad results and doubling down makes it worse, not better. The artificial scarcity forced on us, by those with the wealth and power, and superstitions keeps the unhealthy societies going. Too many voters pick the unhealthy platform or don't show up for the better one. It's not perfect but we make more progress with Dems and less suffering around the world. If this wasn't obvious before choosing the rapist for a second time, I hope more people understand it now, care enough about humanity and do something positive going forward.

Gen X: give their kids awards for everything because they grew up latch key kids. Secretly suspect their kids won’t have social security. Hoping the beanie baby collection will mature before their own retirement.

Millennials: can’t afford kids, houses, or new cars.

Gen Z: don’t want make things any worse.

Great a fascist appears and this instance protects them from due criticism. The comment that was auto modded by bots read something like:

Liberalism of culture, democracy, and rights ARE GOOD THINGS, Liberalism of Capitalism, "free markets", the millitary industrial complex, and lobbying are the bad elements of liberal democracy (should be banned).

Saying "democracy is the problem" is literally a fascist take. Democracy is litterally required for a dictatorship of the proletariat. A democracy that makes no distinction between democratic socialism/communism (reasonable) and anti-rights authoritarianism/fascism (unreasonable auto-destruction) is a bad thing.

Illiberal democracy (democracy with lobbying, moneyed interests, corruption) is a bad thing. Democracy with transparency, protection of voting rights, distributed and independent oversight - is a GOOD THING.

I don't talk to fascists who want to end democracy. Right wing communists can go to hell.

I think you're missing my point entirely. The generation responsible for fucking our planet, are the majority now. They can easily overpower and can easily “deescalate” the 57 companies they work for. If you're a boomer, sabotage your company right now. Stop replying to me. Go on, save the planet you love so much.

Wait, you're blaming boomers for stuff but you linked to data that says the opposite of what you implied. Your first link says the biggest demographic is 15-64, and boomers are 65-80. Your second says millennials are the bulk of the workforce.

DarkCloud already admitted they want to continue supporting capitalism, and the oppressors. My rhetorics worked out revealing their true cause.
Now, why won't boomers release their pensions?

What the fuck are you talking about? How is that even passingly relevant to what I said?

Saying that your argument style is "say random stuff and pretend it has backing" is kind of a shitheel thing to do. Just say your opinion, don't pretend it has a citation if it doesn't.

My opinions have been extremely clear from the start, here, and b4 I created this post.
We are not receiving support from our predecessors, leading exactly to what our predecessors want: our oppression.

So why are you using random nonsense to argue your point?

Also, you're like a gen x property owner who runs a food bank. Oh, and you're Australian. The previous generations left you with a pretty sweet setup.
I'm sorry no one died and left you their retirement account.

Because if it was random, boomer “politicos and billionaires” would ended their oppression long ago.
Pretty screwed up, yah?
