With the recent creation of US State/Territory communities on Quokk.au, I thought I should promote them all a bit. I know there are a few state comms across the Fedi already, but many are hosted on .world or completely dead. Also if anyone is interested in moderating, @Bean@quokk.au has let me know she would like some help. For a broad overview on topics, there is: !usa@quokk.au Alongside:

The goal is to diversify content away from the big instances. It's not healthy for the Fedi to be 90% centred around one instance. |

By creating duplicate communities? I mean, sure, I get choosing a new instance as a spot to host a new community, but mass-creating duplicate ones? |

That was their choice, I'm just here to promote it as an option for people to be aware of. |

As all 50 state communities are created on one instance. |

There are thousands of state communities on .world? I have only seen a small handful. |

Why act deliberately obtuse? Ah I see, you moderate the LW New Mexico comm and are taking this personally. |
