it's the vpn that does it, ime. i use a hurricane electric tunnel for ipv6 and it causes a lot of the big sites to get very anxious. over my residential ipv4 it's no problem.

nah, it's been like this for years. i'm like 99% certain its because either their geo-ip tables don't accomodate the ipv6 range, or, like in the case of netflix, hurricane electric blocks are marked as vpns.
