The most far-reaching insight I ever had was in 1999 when I went to Houston for a suite of job interviews. What I saw in my stay there made me very nervous of the USA's future to the point I decided then and there to never willingly set foot on US soil ever again.

Nothing I saw since has made me think I was mistaken.

I rely on people like you. I have zero clue when I’ve entered a bad situation until it’s far too late unless someone pulls me away. Thankfully my wife has a great read on these things
