Every time climate change comes up my parents are like "we need to get smart people working on it so we can figure out what to do!!!" And every time I say "we already know what to do though we're just doing the literal exact opposite." They always say well we can't do that, solar and wind actually cost more to make, and all solar money is defrauded, as well as all the other conspiracies. Guess we'll just keep hurtling towards the cliff because turning would cost us more in the short term! A smart person will figure out how to make us not fall.
