YouTube changed their app to double dip ads too. Previously I could connect to my TV, then play a video on it. Now I have to start the video on my phone, which plays ads, then connect to the Tv, which plays more ads before the video. Advertisers will never be satisfied.

I grabbed IPTV about a month ago now and it's been the best decision I've ever made concerning television and movies. All sports. All VOD. Every streaming service. I only really got it for hockey but the value is immense. I think my first month is just about up and I'm ready to go year to year. Honestly consider it.

Try a seedbox. You can even use them to stream your downloads. I download torrents all the time on iOS with one

I just don’t have it in me to learn all this stuff just to watch TV. It sucks the way it is. But at least I don’t have to try and understand a whole new technology just to get it to work right.

I think the upnp app I use I paid about £2 for about 13 years ago, that's about about one and half pence per month and falling. There's free options available too.

Even pirating media from Paramount isn’t worth it. The bigger the audience their media finds, the greater space it takes up in the cultural mindshare, regardless of whether or not it was paid for.

The only answer is to treat the media produced by fascists and their enablers as material as toxic as their politics. Nothing of value is here, what is here is dangerous and repulsive to us, it is best left shunned and undisturbed, etc.

There is no shortage of independent creators making terrific work who are starving for an audience.

And even then you get a 30sec ad at the start of every show, sometimes for the show you just put on.

Some of your money goes to allies of Trump every month (up to you if that last part is a positive or negative). It's legal, some people say it's immoral.

Option B (pirating + casting to TV) you download and learn to use two apps, you download the content you want, pay once for an app if you feel like to supper the developers. You're not giving money every month to Trump alies (up to you if that last part is a positive or negative). It's mildly illegal and some people say it's immoral.

Option C you don't get to watch the content you want. No legal or morality issues but you miss out on stuff you were interested in.
