Best: You are with your best friend night and day.

Worst: You are with your best friend night and day.

Sometimes it's really nice to just be alone with oneself.

Different wording but exactly what I was thinking lol. I wouldn't trade him for the world. But some days the ADHD singing whatever song pops in his head gets to be a lot. Most days it's funny. Those other days when I'm grumpy, I just want silence lol.

Best: companionship, I get very lonely when completely alone, even though I normally hate people

Worst: everything is a compromise which can breed resentment, especially when communication breaks down

How do you feel about noise-cancelling headphones? I bought the AirPods Pro 3 when I started my office job a year ago and they're damn impressive; sometimes I don't hear people who are talking directly to me. And while they're still the best earbuds for noise cancellation, I think Sony and Bose have headphones that are even better (I just wanted something I could keep in my pocket).

I have a pair of loops but I don't find myself using them much. Idk how much of that is due to the sensory issues and peri menopause making my ears insanely itchy though.
