Gorillaz, because a collection of gorillas is called 'a band of gorillas'. Might also be why it's the worst name. Edit: apparently 'a troop of gorillas' is used a lot too. |

I don't listen to their music but I've always liked the band names: ... And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of The Dead and Godspeed You! Black Emperor Those names are just so ridiculous, I love them.

I've never listened to a GYBE record, but I did see them live once and it was incredible (and incredibly LOUD). I really should check out their recorded stuff, but I have this sense that it just might not match up to that night 😁
Yeah they're absolutely a live experience, you just can't get the same hit by listening on record |
