The mounting worry among big investors, insiders say, is the threat of a left-wing takeover of Congress, conjuring nightmare scenarios of Democratic Socialists on Capitol Hill looking to throttle deals as they grill tech executives over everything from AI-sparked job losses to deepfakes.

Instead, they hail from the extreme left. Some are outright socialists who want to burn the system down altogether rather than work within its contours. They are promising the fiercest opposition to Trump that this country has ever seen.

Wild line to include in your story, when the goal of journalism is to be impartial. Don't threaten us with a good time.

They're terrified of the thought of being held accountable for anything.

I mean, it's the NYPost. That place has always been somewhere between Fox News and The National Enquirer.

One way to get a bailout is simply to ask the working public to kindly hold the bag for you. I fear that many people will continue to fall for it.

They know the crash is coming because of their own irresponsibility and corruption, so they're trying to preemptively deflect blame to their political enemies.

The New York Post hasn't made a profit in over half a century. Why do they exist? Because they are a propaganda outlet for the Epstein class.

They won't get a bailout. It's not an important industry with tens of thousands of employees like automobiles and they not key to the financial sector like banks.

Don't get me wrong, the bubble is going to tank the economy as a whole, but bailing them out won't get them back on feet they never had.

Oh I hope you're right, but what I was saying is that the IPO itself is a "bailout" of sorts, by shifting the ownership of this vastly unsustainable business onto regular investors and retirement accounts.

Oh! It'll probably be like TSLA stock. People will throw money for FOMO and then that builds on itself even though the product sucks. The part of capitalism that relies on people acting in their own best interest ain't working so great with the stock market.

Going public and having ETFs , Mutual Funds, and pension funds participate in an IPO is the bailout.

and not because AI hasnt produce any profitable market? only because its DEM takeover. that is why they are trying to hide the employment/layoff numbers. Also the fact that some state unis got so desperate recently, exposing the severe lack of career advancement post graduation has caused a ripple effect on enrollement, they started tapping HS students for early enrollment as of late.

Yes please do. Take more money from these suckers.

The "suckers" here are mostly ordinary people's retirement savings, because index funds are obligated to buy at whatever price the stock trades, with no say on valuation. Fast-track inclusion hands early investors and insiders a guaranteed, price-blind buyer to sell into, and pensioners end up as the exit liquidity.
