The finish government should shaft all data centre plans and force Google to plant 250,000 new trees + pay a hefty fine. Something tells me that's not what's gonna happen, though.
Fingers crossed that the fine is 4 million euros per tree. |

No more corporate fines. It's time for personal accountability.
You can get up to a year in prison for taking down or harming a single public tree not in your property. But 250k? |

When I used to work at DCs, the only people that were full time employees were security and maintenance. The rest of us were contractors that would service all of the DCs in a region. Even the guys that ran the hardware would drive around to all of the DCs owned by that operator. The building I used to work in had more than 40 maintenance, security, and IT people. But 5000 other people worked there and it was the size of the smallest DC. They create very little jobs. |

Didn't the Finnish government make the deal with Google in the first place?
That's what the report says, yes. These assholes wanted Google to invest in their country, they wanted it even more than Trump. |
