Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Xuruh, the developer of Jorvik.

Jorvik is a Discord-style chat app built on Matrix: servers, channels, voice, GIFs and end-to-end encrypted messaging, without being locked into one company's platform. It works with any Matrix homeserver, so you can sign in with an account you already have.

• Mobile web layout with push notifications (works on iPhone via Add to Home Screen)
• Long-press message menus and clearing mentions on phones
• Notifications open the right chat and bring Jorvik back from the tray

do we really need yet another discord ui clone? there is nothing redemable on discord's ui ffs

Discord is very popular, and their UI is a huge reason. And even if it weren't, users not having to learn a new one goes a long way toward adoption.

Regardless of the LLM contribution, electron is not a native client and shouldn't be referred to as native

Yet the version number is above 1.0 . which is kinda confusing. i suggest fixing that somehow.
