Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave an interview. The interviewer asked if he would block creation of a Palestinian state. Netanyahu didnt pretend otherwise. He said simply: "I have been blocking it."

When they pressed him about continuing, he argued that Palestinian statehood would mean the end of Israel as a Jewish state. He said: "We have to be crazy to do it." He also said his position has not changed. He admitted he maneuvered carefully. He said three American presidents wanted a Palestinian state. He named Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Joe Biden. And he said no to them. He said: "I prevented a Palestinian state."

This is a clear admission. For decades, Israel has blocked Palestinian statehood. And Netanyahu is proud of it.
