Black Rainbows' album Holy Moon is some of the best space rock I've ever heard. It's got staying power. I listen to it at least once a week. I think these guys are out of Italy. The lead, Gabriel Fiore, is quite a force in the stoner rock scene. His Heavy Psych Sounds label seemingly carries everyone cool. Black Rainbows later stuff sounds like a European Monster Magnet, totally kick-ass. I like all their music, but this album is special. This one takes you places.
And if it takes you to the right places, you can even buy it. |
