There was a concerted effort by some to recruit of reddit to the fediverse. They have an "anti-tankie" bias and so directed users to instances accordingly. They're currently recruiting off reddit to piefed as well. It wasn't a psyop as much as people that liked lemmy and wanted it to grow taking action and the government propaganda brainworms steering it in a more pro-US direction.

Only surprised don't have pj blocked. Had to do that and the lw flat earth mod
never heard of that instance nor that community and i'm afraid to go look for both given this context. lol |
