In a statement Tuesday, the New York Police Department said multiple uniformed officers were struck in the face with snowballs and were "removed by EMS in stable condition" to a nearby hospital, but did not disclose additional information on their injuries.

What injuries? It was a fucking snowball.

Police are investigating after officers were hit with snowballs while responding to a snowball fight? Well this has got to be the shortest investigation in history surely. The answer is right there in the first sentence!

Furthermore, why on earth are police "responding to a snowball fight"? Who called the police? Why even bother calling OR responding? It's a snowball fight! Have these dickheads never heard of "fun"?

The amount of dumb shit police get called to is astronomical. I've seen police respond to "kids playing loudly outside" you know... A normal things kids do?

This snowball fight probably got called in as "there's 30 people fighting in the park!" Hangup. So of course the police have to go.

I remember getting the cops called on me as a kid for being loud outside & they played a game of 2 on 2 with me & my friend in the street before they left. I think we got louder with the cops there.

Yeah plus they didn't even get hit in the ear. That's the worst place to get hit. All their face fat probably absorbed all the impact lol

Just because you do doesn't mean you are required to. Also, I don't believe it. You send PD or EMS if somebody calls 911 because they see a black guy they don't recognize in their neighborhood? Because that's a common call.

Funny thing about people.

Most aren't actually trained to respond well in an emergency.

They might say that someone is bleeding a lot when it's just a bloody nose, or say 'he fell down' when the person had a heart attack and collapsed.
