Responding to questions about the authenticity of her working class roots during the campaign, she told the New Statesman: “I’ve been a plumber for nearly 20 years. What do they want, to see a toilet I’ve fixed?”

Well I'm already looking forward to hearing her responding to other MPs and reporters

It's amazing how far you can get in life by being a good plasterer.

The guy I use to do my plastering has to fit me in between all his millionaire clients, he's so good at what he does that they fly him out to wherever it is that they want renovating, put him up in 5 star hotels for like 2 weeks while he does their plastering. Then he comes back to Yorkshire and does my tiny bedroom. Odd life.

Just think of what the scandals are going to be in a few years.

"Yes I did fly on his plane to his island, but it was just for a plastering gig."
