" Violence begets violence. We learned this lesson in Iraq. We learned this lesson in Afghanistan. And we are about to learn it again in Iran. Bombs have yet to create enduring democracies in the region, and this will be no different.”
Clearly no lessons were learned.
I can come with tougher responses than the milktoast statements D's are putting out.
A school was bombed. The US was negotiating in bad faith with Iran while at the same time planning this attack with Israel. The negotiations were just a cover. And thats info from general news reporting.

Probably because for Chuck Schumer, data tracking indicates that his total support from pro-Israel interests may surpass $6.5 million. This figure accounts for contributions from affiliated donors and individual donations funneled through conduit PACs since he first took office.

Also for the feckless Hakeem Jeffries, his cumulative total from the broader "Israel Lobby," which includes PACs such as DMFI and J Street, is estimated to be around $5,524,449.

Doesn't sound to me like the lesson was learned. Presented, perhaps, but not learned

Schumer supports everything Israel does. Always has done. It's a simple rule.

True, if learning was even a desired outcome.
