THAT is why "DeMILITARIZE the police" was the PROPER name, whereas the ideologues instead pushed "deFUND the police", & the only city which did that, ended up doubling crime in mere-days, iirc, back in the BLM messiness. As the eXtreme Programmers identified, IF you are using the wrong metaphor, THEN you ARE WIRING YOURSELF TO PRODUCE THE WRONG REACTIONS AND RESULTS. Ideologues only care about breaking correct-reasoning from the world, though: so long as ANY ideology wins, then ideology-beat-correct-reasoning, as we all know. Bah. DeMILITARIZE the police!! MUCH more citizens back that, than remove-police-and-hope-that-criminality-won't-fill-the-power-vacuum. Fight the right battles! _ /\ _ |

But it was on sale!!! How could you lose! Oh the maintenance and the specialized skills to drive aren't cheap. Oh that's a total surprise, I guess we should use it more often to validate the new charges in our budget. Maybe swat can use it to deliver pizzas as a pr and recruiting campaign. |
