I figured the premise is kind of difficult to understand, since people were asking about how to "join", so I wrote a basic summary and getting started instructions.

I was thinking that we could probably have a page with a map on it that will have all known Habitat instances that anyone could submit a pull request to to add their instance.

I'm about to start my own instance. I got habitat running, bought a proper domain for my local community and am currently setting up the mail for sign up.

We need something like this before the full implementation of phase 2.
