Coming home from the city today there were all these cops milling around at the gates to the station. Seeing all the cops just milling around with the vigil for the guy behind them made me want to say to them, "bit late now you useless cunts."

There are posters and shit around demanding the police station be open 24/7 as a result. It makes me ask, where the fuck were the cops the night all this happened? They've shown they can increase their presence at the station whenever they want, and our wannabe liberal member got a hold of my email address and was harping on about the crime at the station months ago.

So if this was a known issue, how was a kid able to be mugged in the first place? And why was a regular passer-by the person to intervene. The demand is going to be for increased police presence, but I feel this whole incident and the police response shows how useless and ineffective they are.

Like really, do they expect kids to try mug anyone at the train station so soon? What do they think hanging around at the station will achieve aside from justifying their own existence?

The only time I've seen the police at the station before this was at 6pm on a week day to catch fare evaders. Who do they think they're stopping at 2pm on a Thursday? Bunch of useless cunts, the lot of them.
