Even though I don’t own it any more I still feel obliged to point out the difference….

Nothing like the sound of a wank in the morning

I think the convenience of them knowing how to take you home if you pass out drunk on one is outweighed by the fact it consumes a ridiculous amount of hay and makes just as much poop everywhere it pleases.

yeah, at least i make my wife laugh. that's why she chose me over the horse

My EV doesn't freeze and die in winter and can be parked outside on the street for a week without me needing to leave the apartment. Just imagining riding a horse in an extremely cold spring rain hurts to think about. πŸ”‹ πŸš— πŸ’¨ πŸ˜‚ πŸ‘‰ 🐴 β›½

you just haven't designed a proper horsebrella with HVAC

I mean sure there's all of that... But consider this: A horse doesn't play music, or pick up where I left reading on my audiobook. They don't have mirrors or a seatbelt, so how safe can a horse REALLY be? πŸ€”

also, if it's my really my horse it's drinking with me

Apart from April fool's jokes I haven't heard of automated bicycles yet...

I'm disabled. My ebike has cruise control for when i run out of steam, but i still have to steer.

Cats Cars aren't nearly as expensive in upkeep. There is a very good reason people started to switch to cars even before they were a lot faster than horses

I think you were right the first time. Even when we took the damn stupid to the emergency vet it was cheaper than owning a horse.

A velocipede, of sorts!

To a degree but they use post vulcanised wheels and most follow the safety bicycle standards whilst using a free hub to ensure the rider can coast frivolously.

Β’35/kWh is cheap? That's the price of a kWh with a subscription at Ionity. I park and charge at this parking spot with a charger where you pay by the hour. Β’14/hr. πŸ˜… It's close to my gym so whenever I'm there for like 3–4h I just park there and fillerup for basically change. πŸ‘Œ

Yeah I wouldn't recommend an EV to anyone that can't L2 charge at home for "normal" utility rates.

The horse self driving mode is pretty good though, with its built-in hazard avoidance and lane keeping.

Except sometimes that self-driving mode decides it would rather drive on without you. And sometimes it activates itself randomly.

That is the most apt meme use of this picture I've ever seen.
