USA, 1994, 93 min

Without Warning is a 1994 American television film directed by Robert Iscove, which aired on CBS on October 30, 1994. The film is presented in a mockumentary style, mimicking a breaking news broadcast as it follows reporters covering the dramatic events surrounding three meteor fragments that crash into the Northern Hemisphere. This format was inspired by Orson Welles' infamous 1938 radio broadcast of The War of the Worlds, which also caused public panic due to its realistic presentation of an alien invasion
