Today, I did something odd. Odd for me, that is; I think it's something very normal to do, I hope so anyway, but it was very odd for me to do it.

That is: I hung out with a friend! Well, almost... Or, well, yes I did hang out with a friend, which is weird for me, but what I did was I set it up so we would meet on the train and hang out during our travel. She ended up going further than I did, but we had quite some time to chat, and so we did. It was fun! Well, mostly, I fear she might've been a little bored at some points, but I think, overall, at least, it was very nice.

It was stressful and I felt self-conscious, but it was OK. Today, as well, I wrote something in my personal book to the tune of "I want to be more confident and care less about what other people think of the way I look," and that I should be the one to make myself look how I want to look, not for anyone else! Not quite that, but kind of like that. Anyway, one thing I was a little self-conscious about was that... Well... I'm not handsome. Not at all.

I don't think I'm hideous, not horribly unattractive, but I'm definitely not even average. And I was on the train with 2 people, my colleague and my friend, and they're both beautiful women. In quite different ways, actually, which is a little curious, but they're beautiful! And I'm not. That didn't get me down too much, I suppose, but I did think about it. I could've been more presentable if I had groomed myself properly beforehand, but I failed to do that. That's a mistake on my part, no doubt. I could've looked better if I dressed better, as well, though I don't regret my casual and comfortable choice of clothing, that was adequate and appropriate for what I was doing, though it might not have maximised by looks, so to speak.

I think that's OK, though. Well, I regret not shaving, in retrospect, but I'm fine with everything else.

It was fine.

I wore jeans, by the way.
