[37 male] I’ve come to the realization that the lack of career and success is down to my neurodiversity. I have had close to a hundred jobs in my lifetime- admittedly most have been freelance but I do sturdy struggle to fit in anywhere. I just finished a freelance job and by the third week I was completely burnt out with zero social battery- and this pattern continues with any job The best job I ever had was when I was essientially working alone for 8 months, it was total bliss- people would occasionally come in to my room to talk new projects over but working in solitude was perfect I can’t work in teams for extended period of time- I turn too submissive and a chronic push over- and I’m Conscious of it but can’t do anything to change it. Every single time I start I new job I tell myself it will be different this time and alas, it ever is. I have started to retrain with hopes of being able to work from home. It’s the only solution |
