This is an automated archive made by the Lemmit Bot.The original was posted on /r/autism by /u/justmonaaaaa on 2026-05-15 12:41:16+00:00. Today I've had a conversation with her. Out of the blue she told me " I think you're high sensitive but I doubt you're having autism" Idk how to feel to be honest. I think most people would get excited but I'm not?? İ was diagnosed at my 19th and I was relieved tbf, bcs I didn't felt crazy anymore. I do still think people think I'm weird but I knew it was bcs of my autism that I was just different. But now? Like... I can't functionate on my own, I will get help. But now I know I might have not autism, I ask myself * do I have the right to get help? * I might be high sensitive but if it's only that, I feel like I can't complain about how difficult it is to live like a "normal" person... Maybe I am overreacting but this just hits me... When she told me that I closed off and couldn't share anything anymore. I do think she's a good therapist but I didn't expect her to say that tbh. If you read this, what do you think about this? It's okay if you think I'm wrong or overreacting don't worry! |
