Yes we are coming back but it may take a while. You don't have to migrate on another instance. We recommand you using a backup instance. We apologize for the issue and we are working hard on it. :) |

It wasn't. Some people exposed in public a piefed vulnerability without telling the dev before. So a hacker could steal data. It is fixed. u.u |

Signal now does a reminder for you verification pin. Would a weekly or monthly reminder be possible for backing up? Maybe a message like "We noticed it's been a while since you've backed up. Click HERE to backup an export." Where the HERE is an export. This could be shown not as a popup or anything, but maybe a reminder on the side bar? |

That could be a great idea. I think the best way to handle would be a sync system. |
