Presented by research project that I’ve spent the entire semester on infront of the class. I don’t like presentations and it was a 50 minute long one with time for questions at the end.

Habitat for Humanity hosted a Women Build event near me.

Groups of women from quite a few local companies gathered to build houses. I couldn’t stay for the whole event, but I helped build window and door frames that go into walls.

I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty, but it was nice to see so many teams of women doing construction in one place.

I asked if we could repair my long sitting bike for mothers day last weekend. Got it back yesterday in tip top shape, and it is gorgeous

When for a ride with mt son yesterday, my bum hurt a bit, Im a bit out of shape, and it was amazing

Going out riding again today. This has been the highlight of my year. I love it so much. Im gonna gain some confidece riding the neighborhood a bit, and hit up the Air Line trail, I am just, beyond thrilled!

Im proud cuz I advocated for myself. I dont make requests often, I put my needs last, but I advocated for this, and Im happy I made an excellect decision. I said dont get me anything for mothersday, I just want my bike fixed. Idk, Im proud I am not afraid to go out on it, and I like this part of me. I feel like I got myself back. A little bit of who I was before becoming a mother :)

That's a great thing to do! It's exercise, and asking for the fixed bike for mother's day is a lovely idea. It teaches your son skills, that behaviour matters more than gifts, and is a really nice memory. Then you get to make more memories on your bike together!

I think it went well, the professor really seemed to like it. Though he was obsessed with what we were working on all semester. To the point where it was getting really uncomfortable during our meetings with him.

I just hope my grade comes back good in the end. And that he is never allowed to teach a seminar ever again.

Reconnected with some old friends. As someone who self isolates a lot, it felt like a huge win.

Got tired of being disappointed by store bought flapjacks so found a recipe to make them myself. They weren't as chewy as I had hoped but tasted really nice.

Gonna get more ingredients to experiment a little with the ratios when I make them next, to try to find the right texture.

Oh dear positives and negatives there! If you think it went well I'll bet it did. Hope you get a belting mark

I'm learning a bit more about how to use substance painter and unity and almost have my third model for vrchat textured, but this time it's a completely unique emmissive texture. Based off a blue tailed skink. I don't have an art background and I'm just kind of flailing at it just to get straight lines.

I had my first therapy session to address the trauma surrounding my mom's death this past week. I'm proud of myself for asking for help on my own this time and for my openness to starting a journey that I know is going to be painful and life altering.
